A Little Diversion
TMoODers: Just a little diversion from all the Jericho news!
This picture appeared on the front page of our local Real Estate Weekly magazine. I don't know if you will be able to read the text, but it says that this is a 1949 John Deere AR tractor. We know that Ray and Livy's story was in 1944, and this tractor doesn't look like Ray's, but we all know the significance of John Deere to this wonderful story. And don't we all have a John Deere Christmas tree ornament now? And we see John Deere things wherever we go! I'd need a magnifying glass to see what is on the green ball cap that the tractor driver is wearing, but it doesn't look like Skeet's famous Farm Credit hat from 'Nobody's Baby'. Can you just see Hank on that tractor and Ray on the back working the binder!
