Episode One: The Ferguson Syndrome 2

Paul catches Tommy Ferguson's parents arguing about whether Tommy should be allowed to continue his attempts to heal others - they know that doing so accelerates his disease. Why do you suppose Tommy's father wants Tommy to heal others even if it means Tommy gets sicker as a result?

A second questions is: do you think Paul's concern for Tommy comes from a natural connection to kids or is there some sense of responsibility that Paul is starting to develop for Tommy?
